Yesterday after the session, came back to office tak sempat nak story mory abt my meeting with Aqil teachers.
We were the first one to write our name in the queue list, the session is open from 1 to 5pm. Exactly at one, we were called in.
Alhamdulillah, Aqil had made a tremendeous improvements in his study, according to his English and Malay teacher, he is very alert when the teachers are teaching and understand fast watever that was taught easily. Except that he needs to read more, caused his reading is still very weak. We were taught how to teach him reading at home and also need to teach him to write a simple phrase in English and Malay.
Overall me n hubby felt so happy with his improvement thou he is only in K2, education is tough now, hearing from his teachers his capabilites at school made us very proud of him.
Thou he is so engaged at home playing with his PSP and his other toys, but he had so far shown to us that when it comes to study, he did not neglect it.
Me n hubby had decided to sent Aqil to phonics reading programme, actually the intention to send him was last yr, but we did not made the effort to do so, but now, we have to, he is going to P1 next year, we want him to be able to read by the time he start P1, like both his sisters, Yana and Arin, when they started P1, they are able to read simple story books, and I want that for Aqil to, insyaallah.....
